Breast is Best is holding a free family fun event in Bedlington to raise money for breastfeeding support in Northumberland
Groups which? support mothers to breastfeed their babies are holding a fundraising event in Northumberland this weekend.
The Breast is Best groups will host the free family fun event and coffee morning from 10am to noon at East Bedlington Community Centre on Saturday. It includes cakes, art and crafts and? book stalls, and there will also be a tombola, Easter raffle and light refreshments.
All money raised will go towards supporting breastfeeding in Northumberland. Julia Masters, breastfeeding peer support coordinator at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, said: ?It?s a fun family morning and the money raised enables us to help more local mums to get the support they need to breastfeed successfully.
?From seasoned veterans to new beginners, our support groups are a great way for mums to network, share ideas and encourage the most natural and healthy way to feed.?
