Journaling the Stories Inspiration | Making This Home

You guys! You?re doing some incredible stuff with your?Gadanke journals. Oh boy, I?m so happy that we?re all getting these stories of our beautiful lives down on paper. Just think of the revolution we?re creating for future generations!

I love the peeks you?ve been sending my way, and I?m just so jaw-on-the-ground in awe. Here?s a sprinkle of the stories you?re sharing. I hope it inspires!

1. This is a page from the personal journal, ?She: Me, My Life, My Days?, by Meredith.

The library cards that come in this journal are the perfect place for making lists. And who doesn?t love a list every now and then? I like how Meredith?s is so easy to scan. She?s changed up her font a little for the title and switched pens. Bam! It?s a great way to break up a lot of pages of deep, drawn out thoughts. And doesn?t it do a great job of showing what she loves?

Tip to take away: make a list of four things in your journal. Use one of the fun extras (like a library card) for instant visual impact.

2. This ?You are Loved? baby book?is by Alice and her toddler.

Alice and her toddler are teaming up to make a Gadanke baby book for the newest member of their family. Isn?t that a sweet way to document baby?s stories? I also love that this photo shows a page in progress. We get to see the supplies and the fun mess that Alice and her toddler have spread across the table. You can just see the joy going into this book, can?t you?

Tip to take away: pull out some craft supplies and invite a child to work on journal pages with you.

Thank you for sharing the gift of your stories, ladies!

What do you love about these journals? What can you take away?
